Nape Trading Enterprises (Pty) Ltd is a holding company for numerous subsidiary entities with strategic interests in management consulting, wholesale and retail, real estate, primary agriculture and agro-processing and investments in niche markets.
The company is 100% black owned and is led by a team of seasoned business leaders and managers with extensive experience in corporate finance and banking, management consulting, FMCG and public sector governance and management.
Reuben Mogato Mogano is the Chairman of Nape Trading Enterprises (Pty) Ltd. He has over 23 year’s development management experience at strategic and operational level. He has served several organisations at senior management level, including the National Development Agency where he was the Executive Director: Development Management.
Reuben holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits Business School), Bachelor of Arts (Law), University of the Witwatersrand); Executive Program in organisational development and Strategic Management (Pact – South Africa), Executive Program in Strategic Management (National Training Laboratory Institute; Virginia- United States of America) as well as the Certificate Program in Participatory Rural Development, Monitoring and Evaluation (Goree Institute Senegal/PREMESE). He is still to complete his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with University of South Africa.
Fanisa Lamola is the Senior Executive: Corporate Services at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). Prior to joining SAICA in May 2012, Lamola was the City Manager for the City of Polokwane, a move that bolstered the city’s good governance standing and socio-political profile as she was the first female municipal manager to be appointed by the City.
Her professional career started in 1995 at Anglo American and then JP Morgan Securities as Management Accountant and then progressed to KPMG as Manager Municipal Finance. Lamola was also appointed as the Limpopo Provincial Accountant General in the Limpopo Provincial Treasury. She serves on various committees and councils, including being the Chairperson of the Limpopo University Council for the School of Accounting.
Nimrod Oupa Mbele is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Big Break Youth Entrepreneurship Fund, an initiative of the Big Break Legacy. Nimrod has over 15 years of experience most of which has been in the human capital and academic environment. He is the former COO of the Wits Business School (WBS) and has worked at several institutions including JET Education Services, National Development Agency (NDA) and Workplace Innovation. He has practical experience in organisational design, change management, strategy development and operations.
He has also lectured to post graduate students at the School of Public and Development Management at Wits University and Regenesys. He is a PhD candidate on Corporate Governance at Wits University. His area of expertise is in policy analysis, strategic planning, operations and risk management.
